Ian Hamilton letter to an unidentified recipient [manuscript], 1920 May 16.

Hamilton replies that one answer to her interesting question would get him in trouble with his Japanese hosts at the Manchurian War Times and the other anwer would get him in hot water with his ANZAC comrades. He suggests that she read "A staff officer's scrap-book during the Russo-Japanese war" and draw her own conclusions.
